Tell Me About Your Case
If you have a case involving Emergency Medicine or Primary Care, the first step is to give me enough information to determine whether I can help.
I work with plaintiff and defense attorneys and also accept medical record review requests directly from individuals.
What Happens When You Send Me a Case?
1. Send the Medical Records
Provide the records relevant to the matter. These may include the emergency department chart, history and physical, discharge summary, physician progress notes, and other relevant medical documentation.
2. I Review the Medical Evidence
I personally review the records and evaluate the care provided.
3. I Give You My Findings
I discuss my findings with you by phone and provide a written report.
If I don’t find evidence of medical negligence, I’ll tell you. If I identify negligence within my areas of expertise, I’ll explain what I found and why.
4. Additional Expert Services When Needed
When appropriate, I can prepare an affidavit of merit and continue working with counsel through deposition and trial.
You Will Get My Medical Opinion
When you retain me, you are hiring me for my medical opinion. You are not hiring me simply to support a predetermined position.
My goal is to give you a thorough and straightforward assessment of the medical evidence so you can make an informed decision about the case.
I also make myself available when questions arise. Medical cases develop, new records become available, and attorneys need to be able to speak with their expert.

What to Send
When contacting me about a potential engagement, tell me:
- Whether you represent the plaintiff or defendant
- The general nature of the allegations
- The area of medicine involved
- The current status of the case
- What you need me to evaluate
- What medical records are available
- Any relevant deadlines
My formal written opinions, affidavits, and testimony are limited to matters involving Emergency Medicine and Primary Care.

If my review identifies evidence of potential medical negligence, I will explain my findings and recommend that you speak with a qualified attorney about your legal options.
I provide medical review and medical expert services. I do not provide legal advice or legal representation.
Medical Record Review Fees
When contacting me about a potential engagement, tell me:
- Less than 200 pages: $600
- Less than 400 pages: $1,000
- More than 400 pages: $2,400
- Deposition: $2,500
- Trial, one day: $4,000 plus expenses
- Trial, two days: $8,000 plus expenses
